How many yards of material do I need to make a king size carpenters star quilt? A friend of mine sent me patterns for 3 different size's but none are of a king. I'm going to be using 3 different colors. I'm new at this quilting business, still. I work many hours outside of the home so I don't have a lot of time to devote to quilting. My goal is to learn how to quilt and be confident doing it. Any help you could throw my way would be greatly appreciated.
