My brother-in-law is dealing with cancer, so I made him this quilt. My son thinks the polka dots are feminine, but it's also meant for my sister-in-law too, who is going through so much also, dealing with her husband's cancer. I don't think polka dots are particularly feminine! I like piecing the backs of my quilts, and I was so lucky because the back is perfectly centered! Great quilt, but what I am awestruck by is the fact that you get two beautiful quilts since the backing is a quilt by itself. I don't understand how you get the two to line up so well when they are sandwiched....what's the trick?
