It doesn't have to be a collector. this model is as far as I know regarded equally as good for FMQ as a regular 15, and quite a few of us has taken one if these old straight stitchers into regular use. The flatbed and smooth running parts make them a joy to work on and they are very capable for most jobs. If more people new how good they are they would be taken into use again more often. I have a simpler looking machine, but it's very easy to fall for the more elaborate decals too.
