dd, I haven't actually sewn any together wrong but I have pondered and pondered and looked at my cheat-sheet every time I make a block. Partly because I have my star pinwheels going in the opposite direction of the other pinwheels.
Susie, that is so beautiful. It looks like on the computer that the there isn't enough contrast between the light and the background but that may be my computer.
BUT, I think you have switched your star points so that the white in the pinwheel doesn't line up with the white of the point. That would make them show up more. IMHO. Maybe you intended them that way, in which case I apologize, and applaud your creativity.
