That is outrageous but if the market bears it. I haven't sewn with mine a while but I need to get it out. Maybe just doe some simple piecing. It is so pretty. Hate to not have it out.

I saw several at the quilt show I addended last week - and was floored at what they were asking. $600- $700 or more and that was for a cleaned, serviced machine, not a repaint. You might be better to get a restored one off eBay. Especially if the vendor is not local, so you'd be in the same boat if you had problems.
