I think it is amazing how many gadgets there are for quilting, but they don't concern me. Lack of space and funds makes me happy with what I have. In fact, I have too many machines. My weakness is fabric, not fancy machines or rulers. I do like my June Tailor Shape Cut ruler and the circle one with the slots, too. I've got a lot of use out of my 10 degree ruler.
When does one stop being a newbie? Almost 70 years sewing, but only 7 quilting.
Edit; I am looking at the foot and rulers for machine quilting when they become available for slant needle machines.
