Having had a problem cat for 12 years I've always used Natures Miracle products. You can find them in most pet shops and now Walmart carries at least their spray. It's worked for me to remove the smell and stains from just about everything - clothing, blankets/quilts, carpets, a mattress, car seat cover, baby swing, etc.
