My go to is a 15x 20 tear away. It comes in sheets and I store it flat. Sometimes these are cut in half to float under the project if needed. I also have larger sheets that work with the 9x14 hoop. I use 20 inch wide rolls on other types and cut these at least an inch wider than hoop. The motion of stitching can pull the stabilizer out of the hoop and cause mishaps.

The other option is to make a stabilizer template for your hoop. Cut 2 layers of medium fusible (larger than hoop size). Fuse these two layers together (back-to-back). Hoop into the EMB hoop. Make a cut out in the fused piece that is approx 1/2 inch to ONE inch larger than the EMB design.

Cut sticky back stabilizer larger than window and press onto the stabilizer. You can re-use these templates. Saves a little on the cost of sticky back.

Cut out the paper so you have the adhesive side up. Attach the EMB fabric and or batting to the sticky back. The template can be re-used.

Different widths here that might work for you.

I try to be frugal with stabilizer but I don't scrimp either.
