NZquilter, that chicken toy is a cuty. My 3 yr old granddaughter walks around the yard carrying real live Rhode island red full sized chickens. She won't leave them alone. I am so afraid one will peck her eye out. Maybe she needs a toy chicken like you made. (really , I cant believe the chickens don't run away from her, but they let her pick them up! Crazy chickens!
