Actually, that is a Thanksgiving cactus and it is right on schedule. There are three similar cacti -- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. There blooming cycles are based on daylight hours. Each is different in appearance, and the flowers also vary in appearance.
I looked that up,.,. you are right. Mine's a Thanksgiving cactus. Christmas cacti have rounded 'leaves' and thanksgiving cacti have sharp points on the 'leaves'. Thanks
