As MAmabear said, you will have fuller raggy borders if both front and back are included and ragged. Also, you will have to match the seams in the front and back, otherwise you may have a seam that is a litle off. furthermore, the quilt goes a lot quicker. Once you finish sewing all the squares together and clip, the quilt is done.
