My Janone Magnolia 7330 has very few decorative stitches (it doesn't even have the simple serpentine stitch) & I wish it had more. I agree with Bobinalong that they are great for small gifts to give them a little pizazz. I've seen them used in quilting and along the binding also that puts a neat finish on a quilt. I've used decorative stitches on the cuff of pillow cases also.
