Default MN state fair quilt-on-a-stick!

If you’ve ever been to the MN state fair, you know everything comes on a “stick”! This year’s theme for the little 8” x 9” quilts on a stick is “Have you ever seen a cow dance?” I couldn’t pass this up because I live on a farm and I am also a tap dance teacher. I decided to pay homage to one of my favorite musicals “Singin’ in the Rain” with Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. I am just thrilled that my Stick won first place at the fair this year!! I glued little quarter inch washers to the back of Dairy Reynolds hooves so when you shake the stick, her little feet swing and tap dance in the puddle! I also used Angelina fibers for the lightpost lamp and the puddle to add a little sparkle. Lots of fun to make!
