Phaff Passport 2 update
Well after my machine being in the shop for over 2 months, they are saying that they can't get the parts to fix it. Phaff is still selling this machine and mine is only 5 years old. I only use this machine to take to sewing classes and retreats. I called the company direct and was told that they only have to carry parts that are under warranty. Mine was out of warranty because it had a limited 10 year warranty. Needless to say the warranty didn't really cover much. I had talked 2 of my friends into buying a passport 3 and now I regret that because I will feel really bad if something goes wrong with theirs and they can't get parts. So I would suggest that you don't purchase a Phaff passport 2.
