Ok. I took a close look at the clear foot. There's no gap but it looks bent.
So it's probably just like yours...but it works fine for piecing.
Make sure the screws are tight.
I need to take some video of mine. It rocks like a piecing foot should, but it also moves left to right (laterally) . It sort of does the twist, LOL. I am getting an accurate seam now, but I have to fuss with it. On my Pfaff foot, no fuss, no muss ;-).
