I am just finishing my laundry/sewing room. It is 10x10. Not large, but I am trying to utilize the space wisely. I have cabinets overhead - filled with fabrics. I bought a table from IKEA - adjustable height, which is perfect for sewing and I also bought a mobile drawer unit from IKEA to fit under the table. Tubs fit nicely under the table in the back and the wasted space on the side of the table was perfect for a low bookcase. Peg board along the wall is perfect for hanging odds and ends.
