Another source you can look into is Seams to be Sew. (great site) Every year she posts a page that lists free BOM's.

Many of these start at the first of the year, but as fast as this year is going by it doesn't seem so far off!
There are actually many bloggers that do them, some are free for the first month, but if you don't download it there is a charge after that. It really varies with each. All in all they can be a lot of fun and if you find one you want to do, just ask on QB, there's always someone who would like to do it along with you.
