Most of these quilts go to children's hospitals and I've often wondered if the recipients even bother to take them home when they leave the hospital or if they just get thrown away.
i make charity quilts and sometimes wondered about what happens to the ones that go to children in hospital. No more! Years ago my physical therapist said her 7 year old son would not sleep without the blanket he received when he was 4. I have been makeingdonation quilts exclusively since she told me that!
