Yes indeed .... as I made one! (about 1990)
It was an Eleanor Burns Quilt In A Day technique where you sewed blocks together in a traditional side by side layout. Then did the slicing, and joined the pieces and became an on point layout. Later I learned the blocks were called "Bright Hopes". The fabrics chosen helped created a 3D effect to create a trellis effect.
Sorry, but I don't know the EB QIAD quilt pattern name ... but I think it was Double Garden Trellis, or something similar.
