If you have a tent, set it up in the living room and move in with all the quilts etc. Make one big bed and keep each other warm. The tent will hold some heat in. The kind that has a rigid frame.
That's a really good idea. May I add a couple more tips to that? If you are able to boil snow, put the hot water into big, milk jugs and keep those in the tent until they cool. Cover the tents with quilts for added insulation. Just some ideas.
