If the Energy companies that plan to provide for energy winterize their equipment - be it renewable or fossil fuel - , it won't be a problem. Sweden has already sent word that if the fan blades have a thin coating of carbon fibers, they can warm the blades sufficiently to prevent them from icing up. They use wind turbines successfully at the Arctic Circle so with a little planning, this does not have to happen to Texans again. Your energy company didn't winterize any of the equipment. Sad that everyone has to suffer because of their desire to make money and not provide a stable product to its customers. Global warming has been coming for a while. Ignoring that it allows for arctic blasts like this one is not fair to everyone who rely on businesses to be mindful.

I hope everyone has quilts to keep them warm until it gets warmer outside.
