Wedding Present Pillows
Hey Y'all!
I just finished my niece's wedding gifts. She was supposed to get married last April...but covid disrupted the plans. So they finally got married on December 20th. I procrastinated on making her gift, but in the end, I'm soooo glad I did. My original idea completely changed as I watched her walk down the aisle to the sounds of the Princess Bride theme music. I knew immediately what I was going to do! I quilted the words 'Twue Wuv' and 'As You Wish' onto some tone-on-tone fabric, and then heavily quilted all the negative space down so the words would pop. Then I made the quilted words into 2 pillows. They are 12x20 sofa cushion sized.
Wahoo! I can't wait for her and her new hubby to see them! I'll get them mailed out this week to her. =)
SOMETIMES - procrastination is a good thing. (Shhh ~ don't tell my hubby, the King of Procrastination, that I said that!)
