sitting at my quilting machine with no plan and just doodle quilting whatever occurs to me is one of my favorite things to do. actually turning the doodles into a finished quilt is a different story LOL. I actually didn’t mind the challenges so much, but I had wanted to get this one finished earlier because I was hoping to start a new painted wholecloth quilt project in March. So it took a lot of willpower to force myself to finish this one first and yes, I agree with you on overcoming challenges.
