I have had my Memory Craft Janome 6600 for 8 years and have never had a problem with it that I couldn't fix. Just little things like keeping it clean, especially the bobbin case and giving it a drop of oil in the bobbin case right in the center where a little hole is. I use any plastic bobbins, just no metal ones. With the 9" harp space, I do all my own FMQ even a king size. It can be a challenge sometimes wrestling with all that fabric, but is doable.
