My husband and I are really treating ourselves this Christmas with a restored player piano, so I made this wall hanging to hang above it. It is called Harlequin Garland by Carolyn Murfitt for Free Bird Quilting Designs. I chose a fat eighth bundle of 32 fabrics from Laundry Basket Quilts (Linen Texture II)
, and did a raw edge applique on the wreath, before free motion quilting over two layers of wool batting to get the maximum relief. It took me forever to do all those pebbles, but I'm glad it worked out and is done before the piano arrives.
