I remember using diaper pins on the neighbor kid when I was a teen babysitting. When I used cloth on my daughters I used prefold diapers but someone had invented a cool gadget called a Snappi that held the diapers in place without pins. It was magic! Google it, I’m sure they still make it.
I also made some of the fancier all in one diapers. They worked soooo much better than disposables! No up the back blowouts!
and my entirely cloth diapered baby potty trained in a DAY. One day! She had one accident and even pooped in the big potty. Her non cloth diapered sisters took forever.
