Default I've been busy this weekend 😃

Friday I was happily sewing along, when my Janome 8900 started making an odd tapping sound. Upon further investigation I realized a spring next to the bobbin case broke. I called and arranged to drop it off at the Janome dealer for repair. I was able to get an extended weekend off work this weekend, and was able to finish the rugs pictured. The cording was all sewn, they just needed to be zigzagged together. Luckily they were completed prior to the spring malfunction.
I brought the 8900 to the Janome dealer to drop it off yesterday, after paperwork was done and I was looking around the shop, I overheard one of the employees explaining to another customer the great deal on the 9450. My ears perked up. After the customer left without purchasing, I inquired about the sale, after a demonstration, I am happy to say, I purchased her, and bought my very first brand new sewing machine. I have been sewing for almost 30 years, and always purchased new to me machines. This is my third Janome, and I am looking forward to getting to know her.
