Love the little fuzzy cuts in the center of the stars! A good blend of modern and traditional and it is just right for a special little guy.
I wasn’t planning on having to fussy cut those centers, but the pattern was interspersed with so much white space on the otherwise perfect fabric that fussy cutting was necessary. Glad there were only 12 centers! I used Accuquilt dies, which are not great for fussy cutting.
Both this quilt and the one for his sister (
Baby Quilt from Bonnie Hunter pattern) have been gifted. He loved them both, demanding that both Mom and Dad give him hugs while wrapped in his new blanket! His newborn sister slept through it all!
