1897 New Royal
I have just acquired a New Royal treadle machine. I will need to order a leather treadle strap. The machine seems to be in reasonable condition. However I have never used this type of machine. I have 3 other antique/ vintage machines, but I don't know how the tension works on this machine. The looks of the machine isn't really pretty(?), but it came with the shuttle / bobbins and needles too. But no instruction booklet or manual. So I have taken the meatless off and have done some cleaning on it. I will be refurbishing the cabinet. I'm not trying to sell or do anything like that, I just want it to be in good working order. Any help or advice will be so appreciated. Also if anyone has a manual, I'd be so appreciative to learn this machine.
