I can see 4 pink squares and 3 white squares sewn together for the feet, The back part of the body is 1 pink rectangle, which has a snowball corner, sewn to a red polkadot square which has been snowballed on 2 sides, then a pink strip snowballed on the top (to match the snowball on the butt ) a rectangle that is sewn to the background at a 45 degree angle, and finally a narrow strip for the trunk.

Thank you so much for this tip. I believe I will need to proceed using this method. From the other comments, it appears the pattern is out of print.
