Oh Stacey, I think we have all been in your shoes at some point in our quilty lives! When I first started quilting I would only work on quilts when hubby was out of town for work and I could leave my projects out. We lived in such a tiny place that I had no room to leave anything out. Now that I live alone, I no longer have those issues and my current quilt inspector generally hides when I am in my studio. It’s really hers, but she does share! Perhaps you could hang a sign that says “Shhhhhhh, creativity in progress, do not disturb”
