I have been talking about my weekend of sewing with friends and now I can show my progress! I took a little time last evening to lay out the blocks on my wall. They obviously aren't stitched into a flimsily yet but that will come soon. Yes, easy blocks with minimal stitching stress. The next decision is how much bigger do I make it? I am a bit obsessed with clearing away some of my deep stash of 2.5's and this is an easy way to do it.

I played with blue, turquoise and purple squares with odds and ends of white on white scraps. I see a couple 2.5's that may have been in the purple bin but read on the red scale. Oh well! So be it.
