I've had a really busy week so haven't been on here for a few days. You have been a busy bunch. I missed Bonnie's suggestion to press the QSTs open, so mine are spun like I do with four patches. I guess I'll deal with the fall out during assembly. I used the four at a time method of making the HSTs so I'd have a good assortment of colours ( I usually use the magic 8 method). They all went together so quickly. As an experiment I used the block loc ruler to trim them down. I hoped it would snug onto the seam well. I had mixed results but still think it was better than a regular square, especially since I didn't have one that small. Like many of you I'm still pressing and trimming the four patches but will finish tonight really for tomorrow's clue.
