Also, as the Q series has a separate motor for its bobbin winder — which allows you to wind the next bobbin while quilting — you may find you don’t need to purchase more pre-wound bobbins (after you have used what you already have).
I am going to try prewound MClass bobbins with the Q series Bernina because when microstippling I’m getting quite a bit of backlash in manual mode. Do I REMOVE the check spring from the bobbin case and use my bobbin gauge to check tension like I do with the red Bernina bobbins?
