Today is "what's left in the fridge". Is a long way until dinner but it is also my sewing day so I am about to pre-cook now and heat up with a handful of grated cheese tonight.

We have boneless skinless chicken breasts we got from the butcher this weekend. A few rashers of bacon from the week before. I'll chop that up and render it some. Add some sliced mushrooms that are starting to look unhappy, but sadly no celery or onion. For flavor enhancement there will be some better than bouillon (chicken) and some herbs. I'll throw in some excess milk, cover, and bake for an hour or so. The cheese when I heat it up will help with appearances

Nice -- as I got started I found a couple of acorn squash from the farmer's market. They'll hop on in for the oven ride with the chicken!
