Ooops I forgot to tell you something. I printed the picture, put in on a light board, traced the outlines, printed off a few copies and let my daughter color them. I can't take full credit for this because she's the one that came up with the darks on the inside. On one of her colorings she also used black for the 3 1/2" squares which would have made an interesting sub-pattern.
