First piece face up ( nothing new here ) on the shiny side, Iron it on then peel the paper back to the sewing line between 1 & 2. Crease the paper on this line ( fingers, not iron ) Place #2 and sew alongside of the folded paper without actually sewing ON the paper. trim the seam to 1/4" or smaller. Finger press the sewn piece open, turn everything over and press (iron) piece #2 into place. Continue on til you finish, ironing every piece onto the freezer paper as you go and when you're finished, then remove the freezer paper and you can use it up to about eight times.
