Finally I have borders on! Yay! And I'm loving it again now, especially with its skinny brown border (thanks again k3n and everybody!! you are one cool bunch of ladies) and the orange swirls. So all's good except...

There's a funny thing going on with the top, I can't seem to get it to lie properly flat. It's not actually as bad as it looks in the pics below (I can get it to lie flat and smooth when I tape it down taut), but... :?

I've measured the border length through the centre of the quilt, and remeasured after putting them on, the sizes are correct. The miter angles are also correct. As far as I can make out it's the centre that is somewhat bubbly and keeps pulling the borders out of whack. I've pressed it loads, but perhaps still not enough?

Wondering what to do, whether I can risk sandwiching it as it is (for MQ on my domestic), whether any of you experienced ones has suggestions or other quilt magic?!?! :cry: :cry:
