I made a purple rail fence, using different purples and also pale pinks.

I can see why that beautiful purple quilt would be three years late. How on earth did you manage to make such a beautiful gorgeous quilt. Those small squares would drive me up the wall. I try to cut so carefully and sew together so carefully but I still have seams that don't match. I don't have to do like the Amish and make a block that is a mistake. I do it automatically. Darn it. Absolutely beautiful ... it resonates!!

I love purples and have several kits and yes they are on my UFO list ... lol I also have two large bins of purples from light lavender to dark/dark.

All the quilts are beautiful - thanks to all who have shared their photos some great ideas are flowing.

    Cheers!

I have made two purple scrap quilts for graduating granddaughters and they loved them.

Back of quilt is same as pillow case. Flannel sheet.

    Hello Dina,

I was going through my email. I received an email from all people quilt. I notice there is has an article about purple fabric along with some pictures. Maybe this will be of some help.

Good luck and keep us updated on the progress of the "purple quilt"! :)
