    I love it-I think I want to make a quilt using that pattern in batiks! Can you share the pattern with us?

    I got the pattern at www.quilterscache.com go to bottem of page and click on quilt blocks then go to the bottem of 2nd page to the abc list click on the s.It is called Starflower

    When you square it up, you want to make sure that you have a 1/4" seam around your points, or you will lose them. Move your ruler around the block, checking to see if you cut here, is it too much to cut off on the other side(s) and then do your trimming.

    You may want to double check your seam allowances now and correct them so that you don't have as much trimming :wink:

    Pinning also helps to keep everything in place as you sew your rows together and may help lessen the amount of trimming needed, too :D:D:D
