    I would suggest the book "Row by Row: 10 easy bar quilts" by Terry Martin. Published by That Patchwork Place.
    The block patterns are not complicated and there are some good ideas for theme quilts.

    Yeah, it makes it at least look do-able. I haven't tried it that way yet but hope to as I have a large print fabric I've cut into 12 inch squares to make into a quilt for my queen size bed and doing it on an angle to boot. I think I made it harder on myself.

    I don't understand what is meant by "dovetailing" the batting. Can someone explain that to me, please?
