    When you square it up, you want to make sure that you have a 1/4" seam around your points, or you will lose them. Move your ruler around the block, checking to see if you cut here, is it too much to cut off on the other side(s) and then do your trimming.

    You may want to double check your seam allowances now and correct them so that you don't have as much trimming :wink:

    Pinning also helps to keep everything in place as you sew your rows together and may help lessen the amount of trimming needed, too :D:D:D

    Nice job! You have enough room so you won't lose your points - that's always a hard thing for me. I'm also thinking about starting to make the 'outer' pieces larger than called for, just so I have some grace areas.
