I am mostly just a reader but really enjoy this group. Seems like I just do a read and then off to sewing. Will try to be more active and send hugs to all.

I am new to quilting too. I just finished my first baby quilt last week. But I have just started truly learning how to sew (not mending things) recently as well. It makes me smile. I think I am hooked.

I am usually a lurker but this group is very friendly and knowledgeable. You make it easy to share.

I agree!! I love this board and am addicted to "checking in" everyday. I know i should be at the machine but i just want to see how everyone is. I love all the pics and comments from around the world. I even enjoy seeing what the weather is doing in different parts of the country. It's like a Big Happy Family and i'm glad to ba a part of it!!!!

That's exactly how I feel about not having sufficient tiume to sew, and I've been retired for 10 years.

I have been a lurker and so enjoy what I'm learning! You are quite the giving group and I love this about you. I'll get braver.

What a wonderful post.............. there is always someone here who can help answer or they will know where to go for the help you are wanting and it's not only the new quilters who have questions?????? we all have them from time to time and this is the place to get the answer.

I was always told the only dumb question is the one not asked........ so jump right in as ask... and you never know you just might just have the answer someone else is looking for.

    Thanks again for this post
