My name Nina (or that's what my grandkids call me) and one of the best things I have ever done is join a Quilting Guild! I have been retired from the Hotel Industry for 15 years and one day I decided I needed a hobby, which led me to the quilting guild! So far, I have made 9 quilts one for each of my grandchildren and, needless to say, I was so proud of each and everyone of them. I read the Quilting Board and really have enjoyed all the pictures and your comments. I would definitely not call myself an experienced quilter and am always interested in new techniques. I look forward to corresponding with all of you.

Hi, Nina! I'm in Canton (near Holly Springs) just a few miles from you. I have not yet joined any quilting groups locally. Where does yours meet? Where do you shop for fabric? Do you know of any secret bargain spots around here? We'd all love to see some pictures of your quilts. Please share! You'll love this QB group--lots of very nice people, quite a few from GA too! Welcome!
