Hello JoAnn from Canton! It's nice to see that one of my neighbors is on the QB! Our QG meets at Kennesaw UMC on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Sorry, I don't know any secret places to buy fabric. I usually shop at the locals in the area. I will be posting pictures of my quilts and hope you will too!

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome to the QB. I know this is going to be one of my favorite websites!

    Nina

Welcome I use to live in Woodstock, Ga and worked for Cobb Superior Court until we move to Blue Ridge, Ga.
I lived of off East Cherokee Drive on Creek Run Dr. I now live in N.C. in Lake Lure. We plan to come back to Ga. someday if the economy ever allows it.
You will love this quilt site. Many great people.

Granny-Jean, small world...I used to work at TDS Telecom phone company office in Blue Ridge and used to live on East Cherokee Dr in Woodstock before I moved to Canton. Very long commute to Blue Ridge but a very pretty drive :)

Sorry it took me so long to respond. It really is a small world. I loved Blue Ridge but had to move to N.C. to care for parents in very poor health. Parents have pasted away since our move in 1999. We want to move back to Ga. Our oldest daughter lives in Dallas,Ga. and our youngest daugther lives in Lake Lure also with her 9 year old daughter. She moves where Mom goes. She will always be my baby and I get to see and take care of grandaughter everyday. Love it.
Hope to teach her to quilt. She likes to watch but prefers her video games now like most kids now.

    Enjoy quilting and post pictures.
