    My initial reaction to the fabrics was the lighter one. I'm sure they'd both be great.

    I don't worry whether or not the back matches the front. I do like the darker.

    My choice would be to put the light on the back, and bind with the dark.

    Snuggy looking quilt. I love it. I likethe lighter backing, but if you like the dark, use it. You don't ususally see front and back at the same time anyway. Or maybe make a big square in the light one, and a large border with the dark. piece the back with both colors. Then you won't have to decide
