If i can put my 10 cents in, Perhaps a white border and some applique, or some really pretty blue and white material I think if it were me I would go for some light blue french material, I am trying to think of the name of it and canīt. TOILE is the word I am looking for.

But I am sure Lesley can guide you on that

Ninnie, thanks for posting the pic...it looks lovely everyone!! I am putting on my thinking cap..but I immediately was leaning towards what Elle was suggesting...a beautiful toile...the blue/white would look lovely with it. It will tell you though...or Lesley might have a preference. It is sure pretty though!

you all are right, it is crying for applique. If only I new how. I haven't done much, If anyone has a pattern for a small appliqued basket, I would be willing to try. I am so sorry, but this is the first one that I feel might be beyond by abilities.

Ninnie if you havenīt appliqued before then go for the toile idea. Perhaps if applique is not your thing its not such a good idea if you havenīt done it before.

I really can see that Toile. Come in Lesley where are you

I agree with the Toile fabric. I know I saw some at Joanns I think or maybe it was Hancocks.
But, if you are still stuck as to an idea, you can still send it to me. I'm just in love with it!
