This is so me. And there is finally a day where nobody calls and I'm home alone and I'm too sick to get out of bed. :( Happens every time.

I have a little sign in my sewing room that says, "Creative people are never neat." Keep quilting and disregard the mess!

My husband settled the problem for me,when I was qulting by hand on my loom. After breakfast, he would ask me if I wanted to quilt. Then he would take charge,
watching the kids, answering the phone and preparing the meals. He made sure no one would disturb me .He would bring me a glass of juice when he thought I needed a break! I do miss him

I thought I was the only one, whenever I get really busy my dh or my son or one of the dogs need my undivided attention.
If I'm not doing anything they are busy. I think it's like Murphy's law. i vote for the gagging and tying up. LOL

Welcome from Newfoundland, Canada. My career for this past 25 years has been Cooking and I am a messy cook. Someone told me once that a good cook is a messy cook, The same goes for quilting. A messy quilter is a good quilter.
