We are needing trim to put on tablerunners. We have a patternwhere you use 1/3 yard 45" and 1/2 yard 45" make a tube turn fold right sides together sew across the ends turn out for points.and we want some kind of braid or trim to sew in the seams yo dress it up. If you don't understand my instructions and want to know how to make one I will try to send you a picture as you can make one in 30 minutes or less.

Can someone post a link to what you are talking about?

Bearisgrey it is a very basic table runner . The bottom fabric is bigger then the top ( wider ) sew the side seams together , fold in half press. So part of the bottom fabric now becomes the top . Sew the ends and fold up to the top , they become points . She wants the trim for the top ends that you sewed and folded over .

I don't know how well you can see it but that is what my niece made for her first sewing : http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-65504-1.htm
