Sorry that doesn't help much but if you look through the quilts there, I only looked at the first 300, I think you'll find it. They are all named.

I would love to make this quilt but do not know the name of it.
It has been suggested to me it may be 2 quilt patterns combined. Does anyone recognize this?
I can't say definitely but to me it looks like it might be a Karen Stone design along the line of the Unusual Lone Star 2 (or sometimes referred to as ULS2). You might want to check out her site for that. She has several unique designs.

Welcome as well from Washington state.

    Thanks,

    Hi and welcome..from Utah..

I think you may find the pattern in the book of Agave Garden .. at Quiltworx.com.. it is so close to that one ,someone just change a small bit of it , but so so so close..its Judy Niemeyer Quilting..

It looks like a modified version of Amazon Star. It's very beautiful.

It's very close to Judy Niemeyers work. It must be paper pieced. Very spectacular!!

Where did you get the photo you posted? That info would surely help us find the pattern/designer for you.

With out a better picture to look closer at the seams... to me it almost looks like a Lone Star quilt, with the diamonds being made in Log Cabin fashion. And then the squares for the settings around the Lone Star being made with the spikes. Can you tell us where you got the picture, perhaps that book or website may be helpful in finding the name of the pattern.

I saw the quilt in a quilt show in Melbourne, Fl. last March. It was fantastic but won nothing. I did call the president of the Guild but she didn't reply.
